Even on rainy, wet, soggy, evenings Sydney harbor shines brightly – from the lights reflected on the dark sidewalks or from cruise ships brighly lit up in the Sydney Night, with The Sydney Harbour Bridge in the distance. It just doesn’t seem so bad – or wet – when it’s a rainy night in Sydney!
This cruise ship is the ‘Voyager of the Seas’ from the Royal Caribbean Line in Sydney Harbour on one of the rare soggiest of nights. But the passengers still get a great view of Sydney City and the harbour and Sydney Harbour Bridge.
One of the littlest ferries ‘Scarborough’ [a ‘First Fleet’ class] stands lonely in the wet night at the quay -it’s unlikely there would be any passengers tonight. Or maybe it’s already passed curfew for ferries…
The nine little ferries of the ‘first fleet’ class mainly operate in the inner harbour and are named after 9 of the 11 ships in the first fleet that originally came to Australia at it’s founding.
